Again we have an adolescent in the pack! That was to be expected; Floris is now more than six months old, he has the age for teenage rebellion. The “elderly” in our pack sigh once again and turn away their heads as Floris goes berserk. Bryn who is almost 21 months old now, thinks it is great and participates gladly.
As every dog has its own character, also puberty is shown in each dog quite differently. Floris for example goes left as the rest of the pack goes right. Really contentious. If you call him, he looks at you thinking: “Do you mean me?” Another adolescent action was during a walk when Floris had found a skeleton of a bird. Very proud he came to bring it to us, but where he would give to us in an earlier state now how runs off with his loot. 
The trick for us is not to laugh, because then mister reached his goal. Believe me that really is not easy when you have a teenager Drenth who changes to a clown from time to time. Fortunately, we have experience with adolescent Drenths but those bananas in his ears for the time still remain a little issue.
And then the day came when our adolescent was going to meet another teenager. His sister Jeppe! She has become such a beautiful and sweet lady. Jeppe and Floris came together from Sweden to the Netherlands. Jeppe now lives with Marleen and her pack. I cannot call the visit a renewed acquaintance. From the first moment is was good between them. Actually, they went right on playing where they stopped when Floris came to live with us.
During the walk across the yard at Marleens house it was a pleasure to see how Floris and Jeppe played together, frolicked and lay down in the grass to enjoy the sunshine. Lana, another female from Marleens pack joined them. Floris was instantly charmed by her and was unable to get away from her. Obviously there are a lot of pictures and the images speak for themselves. One gets so happy from this. Drenths are really so great!
